Intimate weddings are my jam. There is something so incredible about being surrounded by the handful of people that love you the most and sharing such an incredible life moment with them.
Annamarie + Zachary were married at The Estates at Baldy Ridge in Breckenridge, Colorado during late September. Typically this time of year you’d expect sunshine and epic fall colors. Epic fall colors were certainly in full swing, but as was the first snow storm of the year. It was like experiencing all of the seasons in a single day. Sunshine, snow, fall colors and still some lush greenery!
What made this wedding even more special to me is that I met Annamarie when I was a highschool student. She was the lead teacher in the classroom that I assisted in at a preschool. Her laughter was contagious and her creativity blew everyone out of the water constantly. My heart is so full knowing that she has found someone that shares such incredible qualities as well. Annamarie + Zachary constantly make each other laugh and you can see how fiercely in love they are through every single one of their actions.
It was no surprise that their intimate wedding had darling unique moments that make it stand out from a traditional or typical wedding. These two are lovers of good drinks, so before their first kiss they each did a shot of pumpkin brandy and their guests joined in as well. For their first task as husband and wife they shattered a plate and cleaned it up together. Their cocktail hour was a wine + cheese bar (yum)! Rather than a traditional cake cutting they had an entire smorgasbord of the most delicious pies, and cut one of those together instead.
It was such an incredible and refreshing experience to work with a couple that truly cherished every single ounce of their wedding day and made it fully unique to them. I enjoyed every single minute of it!
P.S. every private residence needs to install an epic, copper, clawfoot tub. We obviously put it to good use!
