Christina and Corey’s Boulder Elopement on Flagstaff Mountain was everything they wanted! After meeting in high school, spending a decade of their lives together, purchasing their first home in Arkansas and getting engaged during the COVID-19 pandemic they realized the thing that mattered most to them was the simplicity of eloping and doing it somewhere surrounded by nature since they both love to be outside.
Christina’s favorite thing about her groom Corey is how big his heart is. He will help anyone he can no matter what the task or time of day. Corey’s favorite thing about Christina is “every little thing” as he says but he also loves her determination and how she is able to make others feel special. After they shared their vows with one another they tucked them in a wooden box with a bottle of wine that their officiant blessed and prayed over with them. They plan to open their wine box on a later anniversary, read their vows together again and share the bottle of wine. I love when people incorporate special traditions in to their elopement ceremonies!
The mother and grandmother of the bride joined them for their sweet and simple ceremony on the mountainside that was ordained by one of my favorite Boulder Colorado Elopement officiants, Lisa Hunter.
