Emily and Rob had a beautiful Colorado Springs Elopement at Garden of the Gods with just the two of them and their officiant this Spring! With COVID-19 cancelling and postponing so many large gatherings across the United States, elopements are on people’s minds more than ever before. However, many couple’s have been choosing to elope long before the pandemic happened and that’s exactly what these two did!
Luckily, living in Colorado means having epic postcard-esque views that make for beautiful elopement backdrops and Garden of the Gods is at the top of that list when it comes to great mountain views. It’s especially appealing for couples looking for places to elope in Colorado because this location doesn’t have a permit fee for elopement ceremonies, unlike a lot of other popular elopement locations in Colorado!
Emily and Rob had a short and sweet ceremony ordained by married by Maree! (Fun little side story about that: the bride, Emily, had a good friend named Taree that passed away before her elopement to Rob and she felt like it was serendipitous that both Maree and I have names ending in “ree”!) After they exchanged their vows and became husband and wife they shared a bottle of Mead that they had picked up at a local distillery. Then, I took some just married photos of the two of them with the awesome Garden of the Gods as their backdrop!
