After originally planning a bigger Colorado wedding, Sahar and John were planning on eloping to Napa California this Spring, but when COVID threw a wrench in their original plans and then their back up plans as well they ended up planning a small micro wedding at The Manor House in Littleton Colorado and it was a perfect and intimate celebration.
The bride and groom started their afternoon off by sharing a first look in the charming study located inside of The Manor House before heading out to the front lawn for their wedding ceremony. In light of COVID the couple choose to have their ceremony officiated via a Zoom call by their pastor. It was witnessed in person only by their kiddos and dog (as well as myself and a videographer). They even had a phone tripod set up for some of their out of state family members to witness the ceremony too!
I have photographed many weddings at The Manor House at their indoor ceremony location, back lawn ceremony location and even in their white tent that was on site before they added the indoor ceremony space expansion to the venue. It was such a treat to have a new perspective on the venue and be able to photograph Sahar and John’s intimate ceremony on the front lawn with both the mountains and The front of the Manor house as their backdrop.
The couple was in for a special surprise after they became husband and wife! So many local family members and friends that were originally a part of their wedding plans came together and surprised the bride and groom with a car parade where they each drove by the front of the Manor House and ‘sent them off’ with all of their love and best wishes! It was so emotional and so special to see everyone come together and celebrate Sahar and John in a ‘pandemic-friendly’ way!
