What started as the sweetest meet-cute at a grocery store; is now a beautiful beginning to a marriage and a life together. Amber was house sitting for a friend and Tom was visiting from California and they both ended up at the same deli counter in the grocery store. Tom was hesitant to jump the gun and ask if she was single, so he made himself a deal that if he passed Amber three more times in the grocery store he would ask. So, they got their deli meat and made their separate ways through the store. Well, they crossed paths for the third time Tom knew he had to say something. So, naturally, he asked her where to find the low-fat cottage cheese. Amber answered and Tom started to walk away, but turned around and finally asked her if she was single – and she was! After just a few dates Amber was so excited about Tom she even told her friend that this was the guy she was going to marry. Now, here they are, starting the beginning of the rest of their lives together. Goosebumps, right? Me too. I’m pretty sure I had Amber tell me this story at least 4 times just because I loved it so much.

Tom + Amber held their wedding celebration at a venue I had never been to before, Ken Caryl Ranch House in Denver Colorado. It was the perfect place for their celebration. They had their ceremony indoors and decorated with beautiful shades of purple + grey and lots of rustic + chic touches. Now, their love story is dreamy and their details were every little bit of magic, but the most beautiful thing about this wedding day was all of the emotions and outpouring of love that shone through not only Amber and Tom, but all of their friends + family as well.

Amber had a teary first look with her father, followed shortly after by a teary moment with her son. She also shared an emotional prayer with her sister before the ceremony. Neither Tom nor Amber made it through their vows without shedding tears and the reception was full of the same caliber of emotion. It was truly a special day and I feel so lucky to have documented it for this beautiful couple, their family + friends!
