The third time was the charm when it came to taking Michaela + Heath’s Boulder Colorado Winter Engagement Photos. I kid you not, you guys, it had only snowed a total of two times all Winter when we scheduled Mic + Heath’s engagement photos and, of course, both of those two times were on the days where we had their engagement session scheduled. Now, I’m not talking big ol’ fluffy + beautiful picture-esque snow-globe snow – I’m talking windy, sleety, can’t even tell we live in a state with mountains because they are SO greyed out snow. Thankfully, the third time we got their engagement session scheduled it was gorgeous. Literally one of the prettiest Winter days you can ask for in Colorado. We had golden sunshine, next to no wind, still a little bit of snow on the ground and on the mountains in the background and some gorgeous and hazy sunset light. Mother nature must have been doing us a real favor considering she really took a toll on our first two attempts at engagement photos. Also – Mic and Heath brought their dog and let’s be honest no engagement session can ever be anything less than perfect when you bring a cute animal with you.
I’m already counting down the days until I get to photograph their wedding this fall at Deer Creek Valley Ranch!
These were SO worth the wait!! Congratulations to Mic and Heath, you all totally chose a rock star photographer in Sharee and I simply can’t wait to see your wedding pictures!! Will your sweet puppy be apart of the wedding too? Gorgeous engagement work, Sharee. You always make me long for the mountains!
What a gorgeous Boulder Colorado Engagement session. I love their beautiful emotion and such a sweet connection.
I love this one! I love location, I love your work with light and the dog!!!
These photos are beautiful. I can’t believe it only snowed a few times for you. The ring on the pinecone is so fun. The couple looks like they had a great time during their engagement session. And yes dogs should be a part of every event.
So a snowball fight AND their cute dog?! Cutest engagement session ever!! And what a beautiful spot in Boulder for this session!
What an action pack engagement shoot! Blues skies, sunshine and even a bit of snow, it seems like you captured it all!
Love these images, Sharee! Definitely worth the wait and reschedules due to weather- murphy’s law, right?! This couple looks so happy, can’t wait to see what their wedding looks like!
I’m so so happy y’all played the reschedule game because the sun in their photographs is beautiful!! As always you captured their engagement perfectly, Sharee!
Oh my goodness this couple is gorgeous! Boulder looks like the perfect place for winter engagement photos.
