Danielle + Jaxon had a stunning wedding at the Colorado Springs USAF Cadet Chapel and held their reception afterward at Denver City Park Pavilion! The location alone is enough to make this wedding day an absolute dream, but the amount of heart that these two poured in to it and the amount of love their family and friends poured back in return are what made it the very best of all.
I was already (internally) a melted emotional puddle of tears after watching Danielle’s mother help her get in to her wedding gown. I truly just can’t even when I see other people start to get emotional. It’s my favorite, really. The emotional bits just continued in full force from that point forward. After they got ready Danielle + Jaxon both took a moment to themselves and read letters that they had written each other. Then, the ceremony. Jaxon’s reaction to seeing Danielle come down the aisle was really sweet, the readings by their closest friends were really sweet, their exchanging of vows was really sweet BUT the sweetest thing of all and one of my most favorite things I have EVER seen at a wedding is after they had their first kiss as husband and wife and the ceremony concluded they both walked down the steps and hugged their parents, and each others parents. It was so heart-felt and mindful. I absolutely loved it!
After the ceremony the USAF Cadet Chapel and the property surrounding it on the Colorado Springs Air Force base was the perfect place to explore and take wedding party photos and couples photos! I love the unique architecture both inside and outside of the building and it really made for some playful and unique photo opportunities!
So, here’s where things got c r a z y. Unbeknownst to any of us, their wedding day was actually on the same day as the first pre-season game for the Denver Broncos. And apparently that’s a thing that people watch, tail gate for and go to. Like, a whole lot of people. What typically would have been a 1 hour drive ended up turning in to an almost 2 hour trek from Colorado Springs to Denver. The party bus even had to make a potty pit stop at a grocery store – and boy do I wish I was there for such an epic moment haha!
Well, eventually the couple and their wedding party arrived at Denver City Park Pavilion for the reception. They downed some delicious Qdoba, we took some fun sunset photos while geese followed us around through the garden, they danced with each other and their parents, then their parents danced with each other to their own wedding songs, then everyone joined in on the dancing and had an incredible rest of the night!

Wow Sharee this wedding is absolutely incredible. The architecture in the USAF Cadet Chapel in Denver is to die for and you got some amazing light for couples portraits afterward!
That venue is absolutely stunning, I love the slanted glass roof, it looks so grandeur. You captured the essence of the place and the wedding so beautifully, such a talented Denver wedding photographer.

I loved seeing the whole gallery for this one! They are such a cute couple and you did such a great job telling the story of their wedding day. How cool that you were able to photograph their Colorado Springs wedding down at the USAF Cadet Chapel and also shoot in Denver at the Denver City Park Pavilion. Two hats in one day – Colorado Springs photographer and Denver photographer! Go you! Beautiful wedding!
Her dress l! The USAF CHAPEL! Such a gorgeous wedding day, and you knocked it out of the park, and made the best out of what clearly could’ve been a very stressful situation!
