For my first styled shoot I teamed up with the one and only Season Hurd of A Colorado Courtship. She is an absolute gem and turned my small spark of an idea into a beautiful, creative and absolutely dreamy world beyond anything I could have ever imagined. Shooting this styled wedding, themed after the song ‘Time in a Bottle’, by Jim Croce, was breathtaking on every level. We were graced with incredible fall foliage, an unpredicted snow fall that couldn’t have come at the more perfect moment and the participation of some absolutely wonderful wedding vendors!
For those of you that haven’t heard of the song click here to listen.
Now, to let the pictures tell the story…
Mother Nature was seriously rooting for us on this day! We were weary, at first, when we arrived to overcast skies and weather on the chillier side. The clouds provided a perfect natural softbox during the entire shoot and just as we were wrapping up the reception set up it started snowing/sleeting. This was the perfect moment for the “dream” of their wedding day to stop and for the two love birds to wake back up on their cozy blanket and return to reality, where they could continue reminiscing in the memories of their beautiful day.
Barrels of kudos to our gorgeous real couple that modeled for this styled wedding shoot, David and Crystal Tarver!
and, of course, the absolutely fannnntasssticccc wedding vendors that helped make this dream come true:

Psssttt….along with being a kick ass planner/styler and practically a rental company with all of the neato pieces that Season brought along to the shoot (table, dresser, bottles, chairs and more…!) she is also a Colorado Wedding Blogger Extraordinaire!
