After chatting for almost a year in advance, navigating the waters of a pandemic and crossing all of our fingers that things would go as planned after having to postpone the first date set for their engagement session in Estes Park it was so incredible to finally meet Lara and Paul for their engagement photos in Rocky Mountain National Park this past summer!
Lara and Paul were planning a beautiful wedding at YMCA of the Rockies that took place in September (that’ll be on the blog soon too, and I can’t wait to share it with you all!) and had plans to visit their venue and meet their Estes Park wedding vendors in the Spring. However, when COVID first hit things started to shut down and their travel plans had to be cancelled. We all held on to hope that things would open back up enough before their fall wedding day for them to make the trip out beforehand to see Rocky Mountain National Park and to have engagement pictures taken. Thankfully, the Corona curve in Colorado flattened out enough this summer for some of the rules and regulations to shift and allowed them to travel out and make it happen!
It was a perfect sun soaked summer afternoon and it was so fun exploring Fall River, Horse shoe park and Sheep Lakes with these two :). We even got to see some elk!
