Engagement Photos at Sapphire Point in the Spring | Jack + Caroline

Jack and Caroline’s engagement photos at Sapphire Point in the Spring were full of quintessential springtime Colorado vibes. We drove through rain, hail, and snow on our way to Dillon, but when we arrived the sun came out immediately and the hiking trail was calm and quiet (a sometimes rare occurrence for this popular hiking trail and overlook). The fresh blanket of snow from the hours before we arrived paired with the clouds lifting off of the mountain peaks behind the Sapphire Point overlook and hiking loop made for an iconic Colorado postcard backdrop for their photos!

You never know what the weather is going to do during Spring in Colorado, but as long as you focus your intention on rolling with whatever happens Mother Nature won’t be able to steal your thunder. These two were prepared with all of the layers and all of the smiles and we had such a great time together! After exploring the Sapphire Point loop and overlook we headed to one of my favorite shoreline spots along Dillon Reservoir to catch the sunset for the end of their session.

Stay tuned for a blog post with photos from their amazing Fall wedding in Boulder at Hotel Boulderado and Rembrandt Yard!
