It was an absolute blast to capture Kenia + Armani’s Arrowhead Golf Club Wedding Photos and have the chance to document such an emotional, stunning and epic day! These two live out of state, so we didn’t have a chance to meet prior to their wedding, but when I showed up to the bridal suite and was greeted with giant smiles and a shot of cuban coffee (espresso) I knew that I was right at home, these people were already my tribe and the wedding day was going to be absolutely amazing; and that it was!
The day started with the bride and her bridesmaids getting ready at a hotel near the venue, Arrowhead Golf Club. I photographed Kenia’s details and she got her wedding dress on with the help of her bridesmaid and mother.
After getting ready it was time to head to the venue! Kenia and Armani did not do a first look, but we still had plenty of time prior to the ceremony to knock out the wedding party photos and the gorgeous reception details (the reception detail photos will be later in this post, for the sake of order of events!)
You couldn’t ask for a more perfect summer day. There was a light rain shower about an hour before the ceremony so all of the grass was lush and green, the clouds were still touching the tops of the mountain peaks but the temperature was a beautiful 80º.
Their wedding officiant has been married for 60 years. 6-0. s i x t y. What a perfect person to start these two off on their forever journey and share his wisdom and experience. 
One of the great things at Arrowhead Golf Club is that you get to jump in a golf cart post-ceremony and take couples portraits in a secluded, gorgeous area with no guests gawking nearby. It is the perfect setting for getting some true, sweet emotion and for the couple to be able to relax and enjoy a quiet moment together before they head in to the craziness of cocktail hour and reception!
Kenia made Armani promise not to smash cake in her face, so instead they cut their slice together and enjoyed it at their head table while everyone else headed to their dessert bar and filled up on macaroni and cheese!

I am pretty sure I audibly gasped when I saw that first landscape image. And then I saw the ceremony photos, the copious details you beautifully photographed and all the stunning portraits…Colorado is really lucky to have you working there. Your wedding photography is absolutely stunning and the moments that you captured have to be absolutely treasured by this couple. So good!
