I absolutely loved photographing Kelly and Kelley’s Rocky Mountain National Park Elopement at Lily Lake in Estes Park Colorado! Kelly and Kelley met on an online dating website in 2015. They were both single parents with two children of their own and they quickly fell in love, had a baby of their own and started building their beautiful blended family! They chose a beautiful late fall day for their elopement in Rocky Mountain National Park at Lily Lake and of all the places to elope this one is one of my favorites.
Kelly and Kelley started their Colorado adventure elopement off with a first look on the dock of Lily Lake followed by a sweet ceremony that was officiated by Married by Maree. I love that they made their ceremony so personal to them. They exchanged vows, then did a toast with their 5 beautiful children. After the toast, they had their kids surround them and the entire family put their arms around each other before they shared their first kiss as husband and wife. It was such a beautiful, touching moment and a really incredible way to involve their entire family in the process.
After the ceremony the kiddos went to where it was warm (you guys it was SO windy and cold this day) and Kelley, Kelly and I ventured around Lily Lake for couples portraits. We even had a little muskrat friend follow us around the lake while we were taking pictures.
