Sam and Tyler’s Lone Hawk Farm wedding in Longmont Colorado was perfect beyond words! Let’s rewind a little bit, shall we? Almost a decade ago, Sam and Tyler exchanged best friend charms. Unbeknownst to either of them at the time, they were giving these charms to the person that would become their future husband and their future wife. Not only did Sam and Tyler each just hang on to their heart shaped pizza best friend charm through school, but they each brought the charm on their wedding day as well. Obviously, it wasn’t just their wedding day that was perfect beyond words. It is their entire story, from the beginning!
I have been a Colorado wedding photographer for almost 9 years now! It is so refreshing when couple’s intentionally incorporate details about their love story in to their wedding day. The wedding centerpieces were all framed song titles that meant something special to the bride and groom, their vendor line up was filled with friends and family members that were all so ecstatic to be a special part of their big day. The best part, though? They decided to forego a ‘traditional wedding meal’ and serve pizza instead. They brought in a stone oven and served all sorts of pizza, including one with special ingredients chosen by the bride and another with special ingredients chosen by the groom – so signature pizzas (p.s. I was totally team bride because alfredo sauce and tator tots on pizza – hell to the yes)!
Their day was everything a wedding day should be. Personal to them, filled to the brim with emotional moments, and ending it all with all the best beverages and an epic ribbon wand send off! I loved every second of it :). Oh and P.S.S their wedding hashtag takes the cake forever and ever #forbennerorforworse because their new last name is Benner!
