Brooke and Kasey’s Sunrise Amphitheater Wedding on Flagstaff Mountain in Boulder Colorado and first look at Lost Gulch was such a dream to photograph! Brooke and Kasey met while they were attending different colleges and are firm believers in absence making the heart grow fonder! After a few years of growing their relationship Kasey planned the sweetest little proposal on a baseball diamond and even incorporated his team and their family and friends.
Here is the proposal story, as told by Kasey: “I played college baseball at Sterling College. I tricked brooke into thinking that I wanted the whole family, hers and mine, to be at my last fall scrimmage of my career. I had the whole team involved and I faked a leg injury. The entire team circled around me in what brooke thought was a praying circle. My dad came to “check on me” and then told brooke that I wanted her to come out there and that it wasn’t good. While we waited for brooke to walk out there, my coach and trainer brought me the ring and flowers. Once brooke was almost to the circle, the guys parted and I walked out and got down one knee. She had absolutely no clue.”
There are so many gorgeous places to elope in Colorado, but all of the locations up and along Flagstaff Mountain are definitely some of my favorites! Brooke and Kasey decided to share their first look at Lost Gulch in Boulder before having their intimate wedding during sunset at Sunrise Amphitheater just up the road. It was an absolutely perfect Spring wedding in Colorado!
