Taylor + Stefan | Silverthorne Colorado Wedding Photographer
Taylor + Stefan had a gorgeous summer wedding nestled in the mountain side of Silverthorne, Colorado. Prior to the ceremony they had their first look overlooking one of the most stunning mountain range views I’ve ever personally witnessed in Colorado. Both the bride, Taylor, and the groom, Stefan, were radiating pure happiness. Their smiles and their laughter were contagious all throughout the day.
My heart practically exploded during their ceremony. The flower girls were both darling, young and old. The groom and his nephew walked down the aisle as heroes in half shells (ninja turtle gear, for the win!), the bride + groom planted a tree together, both of their pastors spoke passages during the wedding and the amount of happy tears shed by guests were just beautiful.
There were so many sweet and personal as well as fun and quirky moments throughout the day. I love that during their first dance the nephew decided it was time to go for a bike ride, so the bride and groom paused their dance and created an arm tunnel to ride through. It was such an adorable moment! My jaw literally dropped when I found out that the beautiful glassware used during toasts were actually created by the best man! Taylor + Stefan chose to forego gifts and instead had their guests donate to church missions that were close to their hearts. And, one of my personal favorites; rather than cutting a cake the bride and groom put their favorite ice cream flavors together and created a milkshake to share before being sent off on a scooter after frolicking through a storm of bird seed thrown by all of their guests.
Such an absolutely incredible wedding day to have witnessed and captured alongside Abigail Oxford Photography!
