Boulder Wedding at Rembrandt Yard and Hotel Boulderado | Jack + Caroline

Rembrandt Yard, Hotel Boulderado, Lost Gulch Overlook, Chautauqua Trail, and Pearl Street Mall: so many iconic Boulder Colorado locations for this fantastic wedding day. Jack and Caroline absolutely had a quintessential Boulder Colorado wedding experience.

They started their wedding day by getting ready with their close friends and family members at Hotel Boulderado in downtown Boulder. After they finished getting ready, the couple headed up Flagstaff Mountain to share their first look as husband and take wedding portraits at Lost Gulch Overlook. Then, we headed down the mountain to Chautauqua Trail to meet up with their friends, families, and adorable pup for more portraits of the two of them, their wedding attendants, and their families.

The beauty of sharing a first look with your partner on your wedding day is being able to take the majority of your portraits prior to your ceremony, which means more time to spend with your guests afterward. It also makes going off-site from your ceremony or reception venue easier too because it allows for more time away before guests have arrived!

After the portrait time magic wrapped up, we all headed back to Hotel Boulderado for their wedding ceremony on the staircase. It was so fun getting creative with angles and lighting in this historic space! I love that their guests were seated surrounding the balcony that overlooked the staircase. They sealed their vows with a kiss, signed their marriage license, and had a fun bubble send-off before heading across the street for their cocktail hour and wedding reception at Rembrandt Yard.

Rembrandt Yard is a stunning art gallery located directly across the street from the hotel. This Boulder wedding venue is split into levels, which makes hosting cocktail hour and receptions (or ceremony and receptions!) super convenient, too. The simple and sophisticated centerpieces and decor this couple chose for their day were perfect.

We couldn’t resist spending a bit of time in downtown Boulder for a few more photos with their wedding attendants, but then these two spent the rest of their evening hanging out with all of their favorite humans at Rembrandt Yard. Following cocktail hour, they had a delicious Taco Bar buffet for dinner, heard heartfelt toasts from their close friends and family, shared special dances with their parents, and of course with each other and then danced the night away serenaded by an amazing live band.

Taking portraits after dark with the iconic LOVE sign that hangs on the Rembrandt Yard balcony illuminated was an absolute must and the perfect way to wrap up their photography time before they headed back into the venue to continue dancing the night away!

After they shared their first look and took gorgeous mountain-top bride and groom portraits we headed to Chautauqua Trail at the base of Flagstaff Mountain for wedding photos with their dog, wedding attendants, and families!
