Those of you that already know me won’t be surprised and those of you that don’t know me yet will quickly learn that I have a minor (ok, major) affinity for adorable animals, specifically farm animals and specifically specifically llamas, so when I had the opportunity to put together a styled wedding shoot with the Colorado Wedding Llamas of Crooked Wood Outfitters I pretty much died immediately on the spot.
A few weeks after Kelvin reached out we had organized this stunning styled wedding at Younger Ranch in Colorado Springs and it was absolutely amazing. Mama and Aspen were such good llama models and Rachel + Jason were our perfect human models ;).
One of my past brides, Abi Solis, actually started her own calligraphy business after slaying it with the signage at her own wedding in 2017 and I was so excited to partner with her and have her create this sign as well as all of the table numbers and name cards for our reception set up.
As you can see, Bliss Wedding Florist totally killed it with these flowers! Florals this epic aren’t easy to stumble upon in February you guys, but this team of all-stars totally made some magic happen for us.
Younger Ranch was the perfect space for us to host this styled wedding and we absolutely love the faux hedges from Colorado Party Rentals that we used to dress up the indoor reception space.
I literally screamed out loud after taking the above photo. And I’m not quite sure if it was because of how cute Mama the llama was or because we were letting llamas eat off of $50 place settings. So worth it, so so worth it.
Bliss Wedding Florist also made these gorgeous neck garlands for our llama friends because, fun fact; llamas actually hate having their ears touched and should NOT be put in flower crowns!
Did Kim Jundt totally slay it with this hair and makeup or did she not? (p.s. she did). Rachel looked absolutely perfect!
Reasons they’re smiling: he got to grab her butt.
I don’t think any photo I ever take in the history of ever will ever top this one. I love using random nature, scenery, etc to frame my couples but LLAMAS framing them? I just can’t!
Thanks to Rachel and Jason for modeling for this Colorado Wedding Llamas Styled Shoot 🙂

I love everything about this Colorado wedding! The rich, bold colors (I mean, red shoes? Love it!), the dress, and of course, the llama! You captured all of the details perfectly.
You slayed this styled shoot! Everything looks perfectly perfect! I cannot believe you were able to get those llamas to cooperate for the picture like that! This whole shoot is SO you!
