Monday’s are best spent trekking from Wisconsin to Colorado, eloping in a court house and following it up with epic mountain top Rocky Mountain National Park elopement photos. Last week, Kelsey and Jake did just that! This was Kelsey’s first trip to Colorado and both of their first times in Rocky Mountain National Park. We were met with some crazy awesome model wind + cloudy skies which made for the perfect start to their elopement photos. On our way back down the mountain we stopped by a super cool water fall and shot all the way until the sunset at other epic locations in Rocky Mountain National Park such as the Alluvial Fan Overlook and Sheep Lakes. Newlyweds are always the greatest! Kelsey and Jake laughed their way through the entire session, even when the temps dropped below 50º in July (totally typical for trail ridge road to have bizarre weather). I would adventure across mountain tops with these two any day scouting for marmots, or as they call them in Wisconsin “whistle pigs!”, and I’m wishing them the most exciting travels as they make their way across the West coast and celebrate their new marriage!
