Shupe Homestead Wedding in Longmont | Melissa + Bryan

Shupe Homestead Wedding

Melissa and Bryan’s July wedding at Shupe Homestead was a joyous occasion filled with meaningful moments. As the Longmont wedding photographer capturing their special day, I had the pleasure of documenting the genuine connection between this delightful couple.

Opting for a private first look and intimate vows away from the crowd, Melissa and Bryan ensured a moment of quiet reflection before the ceremony. This choice not only allowed them a personal touch but also gave them more time to mingle with guests during the lively cocktail hour and enjoy the Sweet Cow food truck too!

Shupe Homestead’s rustic charm has so many gorgeous photo opportunities, but Mother Nature was showing off that evening with the most stunning sunset and I couldn’t resist taking more portraits of them during golden hour all the way through when the sky lit up with colorful clouds and the light disappeared completely!

The reception at Shupe Homestead was a lively affair, with friends and family dancing the night away. Laughter filled the air, creating a festive atmosphere. The celebration peaked with a sparkler send-off, casting a magical glow on Melissa and Bryan’s path forward.

After the final goodbyes from their guests, Melissa and Bryan shared a sweet last dance on the Shupe Homestead lawn beneath the warm glow of market lights. This tender moment encapsulated the heart of their wedding day – a blend of love and commitment in a charming setting.

Melissa and Bryan’s Shupe Homestead wedding was a beautiful combination of personal touches and joyful celebrations. As their Longmont wedding photographer, I am honored to have been part of creating lasting memories for this wonderful couple.

Melissa’s response to seeing their wedding photo sneak peeks was iconic: “Not me crying in the club right now. 🥹😭😭😭😭 These are the prettiest things I’ve ever seen in my whole life. Even prettier than queso and a marg on a summer day.”

BEST. RESPONSE. EVER. 🥰 and immediately obvious why I love these two so much. Their wedding day was filled with so many sweet and emotional moments, but so much laughter and fun too!

Melissa and Bryan, You are the chips to my guacamole. Thank YOU for inviting me to capture your special day and witness your sweet love, with all the people who love you most. It was an honor and a privilege, and day I won’t ever forget.

Melissa and Bryan

Melissa and Bryan’s July wedding at Shupe Homestead was a celebration of love that began with a unique and charming connection. As their Longmont wedding photographer, I had the privilege of capturing the essence of their beautiful journey.

Their story unfolded with a friendly bet over a basketball game, leading to their first date at Fuzzy’s Tacos. Melissa playfully challenged Bryan’s loyalty to the UNC Tar Heels, and the result was a date filled with laughter and a delicious quesadilla. Their love deepened with Bryan’s heartfelt proposal at Milner Pass in Rocky Mountain National Park, adding a touch of nature’s magic to their narrative.

What makes Melissa and Bryan’s bond special is the genuine appreciation they have for each other. Melissa values Bryan’s nerdiness and easy-going nature, while Bryan cherishes Melissa’s kindness, intelligence, and culinary skills. It’s a match made in heaven, with each bringing unique qualities that complement and enhance the other.
