Alyssa and Bank celebrated their nuptials in two iconic Colorado locations: the Vail Wedding Deck for their ceremony and Donovan Pavilion for their reception. Their destination wedding in Colorado was long-awaited, after having to postpone from 2020 to 2021, but well worth the wait!
The couple had an entire wedding weekend full of festivities. They held a welcome party and rehearsal dinner before their wedding day and a brunch celebration the day afterward. These two definitely spoiled their families and guests that traveled in to celebrate them!
They began their wedding day by getting ready at hotels in Vail Village with their bridesmaids and groomsmen. The rain rolled in (thanks, Mother Nature) and we had to wait out the gondola closure before their first look, so the groomsmen even spent some time checking out the shops downtown while the ladies continued getting ready. The bride and groom also each had gifts to exchange after they finished getting ready, which was such a sweet and emotional touch to the morning!
Just when we started leaning into Plan B, the rain stopped and the lightning was just far enough in the distance to go up the mountain. We rode the gondolas up with all of their guests just minutes behind us so they could share a private first look together before their ceremony began.
It was a little damp outside, but everyone happily snuggled together under umbrellas to enjoy their Vail wedding ceremony with an epic view. After the beautiful couple sealed their marriage with a kiss and made it legal by signing the license in a gondola (only in Colorado!) we headed off to their reception at Donovan Pavilion for dinner, toasts, epic dance floor moves, and a whole lot of tequila to warm up after being rained on ;).
